eAsTeR 2013 & gReGS 27TH b-DaY

Easter is not one of my favorite holidays but I do love spring and all the cute clothes for this season. I love all the colors and being able to mix and match everything. This Easter we went to my moms as we do every year and' the kids had a Easter egg hunt . They were all so cute and I can't wait til Londyn gets to the age where she can do the hunts to.

Greg's Birthday was kind of chill this year we didn't go out of town or anything we just went to dinner at buffalo wild wings and I got really sick after eating two wings and couldn't stop throwing up all night after that but we did mange to go birthday shopping for Greg and he got a lot of good stuff. I try to go shopping for him on my own and he loves what I pick out for him but he is such a perfectionist he would rather do it himself. I did get him some new Giorgio Armani Cologne though it's my favorite cologne of his. I love my husband so much and am so thankful for him. Like I always say he is going to be the best daddy ever to our little princess and I am so happy to spend eternity with him.Happy birthday baby

My LiFE oN bEd ReST

This last week as I have been waiting for this nasty kidney stone to pass my doctor put me on bed rest because the pain could send me in to labor and the less I am up and about the better my chances are of not going in to labor. It has been a very scary, difficult week to say the least. I have not been able to go to work, or go anywhere. It has been depressing but I will do whatever I have to do for my baby's safety. Last night Greg got home from work and I was in tears , mostly from the pain but also from being so bored here at home and also this whole pregnancy I have been so nauseous and  it gets worse when I am sitting home not doing anything. My little princess does not like her mommy being lazy . Last night  Greg was holding me as I was sobbing and he just went quiet for a minute, this is unusual because he usually says things like "it's ok honey everything will be fine" but I think he actually could feel how sad and how much in pain I really was in. After a minute he just kissed my for head and said "I'm sorry honey,I really am" and he sounded very choked up as he said it. I wanted to reach up and kiss him but he never cries and when he does I try not to make a big deal of it because he hates it when I do make a big deal about it .After that he gave me my 4th blessing of the week and we watched a movie. I felt so much better after the blessing of course but today Greg took my car to his dentist apt. He called me as he was coming home and said "come outside for a minute" I grabbed Jax and went outside to greet him only to find my car clean ,some yummy cupcakes from the the sweet tooth fairy (if u have never had one of their cupcakes go get in your car now and drive to the nearest one , they are fabulous) ,three shirts, two pairs of colored skinnies and two necklaces! I am so spoiled. I think Greg was so worried about how sad I was he wanted to cheer me up the best way he knew how by pampering me! I seriously have thee best husband EVER! and I must say my husband has really good taste ha ha. Greg had taken the morning off for his apt and to spend time with me and I told him that was enough for me that he just was home to be with me and that the gifts were just nice extras. I love him so much and he means the world to me. I am so blessed to spend eternity with him and to be the mother of his baby girl.

oNE bRoKe DaDdY

One of the first pair of  bloomers we got for Londyn

One of the many perks of having a baby girl is all the cute headbands, hair bows, shoes, tutu's,clothes, etc . When Greg and I were guessing what gender our baby would be we both knew we would have a girl. We both are very happy & excited to have our little princess and  let's be real here shopping for baby girl stuff  is a lot more fun than shopping for baby boy stuff  I know that sounds so mean and I don't mean to offend anybody or piss anybody off . Don't get me wrong I love shopping for little boys I have four nephews and there is cute stuff out there but let's be honest there is tons more stuff for girls and that brings me to the subject of my post. When we found out FOR SURE we are having a girl the first thing I wanted to do leaving the doctors office was run to the  nearest baby gap and to every cute little boutique in sight to start my  baby girls wardrobe and let's face it any child of mine weather the baby is a he or she will have a huge wardrobe. Shopping is just my thing I have actually had friends ask me to be their personal shopper and when I was growing up my little sister who's 16 months younger than me always asked me to pick her out outfits to wear, as soon as my brother got home from his mission he took me to gateway with him and asked me to pick him out stuff. It is just something I love to do and I don't mean to sound conceded but my wardrobe isn't to shabby! Now that there will be a little mini me running around I am afraid Greg is worried he will be one broke daddy. I have already gotten rompers in every color along with matching leggings and bows, she already has more pairs of shoes than Greg and she has every tu tu I can get my hands on. Greg surprisingly isn't freaking out though like I thought he would but maybe that's because he just got a huge 12 dollar raise at work and he finally makes what he deserves and now making tons of money   that financially puts us in a really good place to start our family and move in to our new home in May that we have been waiting to move in to  for a couple months. I use to feel really bad because I didn't work for a long time and Greg worked his butt off to support us while I went to school and I have always had a really hard time with it I didn't like that he was the only one working and paying the bills. So I finished school and got a a job doing hair and also in marketing where I am making really good money. It feels great to be helping out Greg and doing something with my day, I have to keep busy  I can not handle boredom. However, because of Greg's Job  and how much he is making now he told me he wants me to be a stay at home mommy and that we can afford that lifestyle. This isn't something new, Greg & I decided this was the plan when we were dating. We both agree that it is best for me to be home with our kids while he works that is just how we want to raise our family but I am not going to give up one of the things I love to do most ...doing hair, I will still do it here and there but I am quiting my marketing job in May or June. So most of my paychecks go towards my wardrobe, decor for the house, and Londyns wardrobe, by me working it just gives us that much more extra money to spend and to save up. It's really hard to save the money though I have never been good at it at all.I just want my little princess to have  the best possible and I am loving every moment of shopping for her and picking out her nursery decor. I love my husband so much and am so thankful for him, he is so dedicated to his job and I have always admired him for it and I am so proud of him for getting this h raise that is a huge blessing to our family. I feel so blessed to have him ,he is so patient and kind and he is going to make such a great daddy. Here are some of the things we have purchased for our little princess

Londyn is a summer baby so we found this cute little swimsuit

k how cute is this? MY FAVORITE

mY BabY MaKeS mE prOuD

If you were to ask me 5 years ago what I wanted in a husband I would have said exactly this ...somebody who is smart, attractive, funny, caring, giving, understanding, dedicated, faithful and a hard worker. Well I got exactly that in marrying Greg and so much more. I have always admired how hard of a worker he is and how dedicated to his job he is.He hardly ever misses work,he goes in early and stays late if he has to and he gets the job done.

His usual work schedule is from 8-6 but he has to train somebody so for the next couple weeks his schedule has changed to 12-10 Mon -Fri. We both hate this schedule and will be so happy when it is over. I hate seeing my husband come home dead tired and only getting to see him an hour a night before we go to bed. He is always burnt out and it wears on him.
Last Friday Greg's boss offered him 5th row jazz tickets for how hard he has been working and the fact that he had to give up his regular schedule to work 12-10. We were both so excited and I was so proud of my baby. It was only for the pre-season game but still we had a blast and were just so happy that he is getting rewarded for his hard work and dedication. I know I say this a lot but I truly have an amazing man who loves me ,who takes care of me, who works hard for our family and who brings out the best in me. I love you Gregory Burke you make me so so proud.
