mY 24tH bIrFdAy

 I am now 24 yrs old. that means one more year than I am half way to 50. YIKES. As some of you know I am a strong believer in making birthdays very special for my friends & family.....& I expect the same in return ha ha jk. This year we were actually in Utah for my birthday last year we were in Missouri. I had no idea what Greg had planned for my birthday on september 2,2010. The morning OF I woke up & it has been a tradition for Greg & I to go to Ihop for my birthday the last 3 yrs.

 So we were at breakfast & he gave me a list of ideas he had and told me to choose whatever my heart desired. Believe it or not in the whole 3 years Greg & I have known each other we have never been mini golfing!!!! So I chose boondocks mini golfing & go carts , everytime we have gone on the go carts Greg always gets the slow car ,I felt so bad but yet so happy I got the fastest car :) I kicked his butt in mini golfing & to be honest I am very proud :) ha ha. We than went to park city to go zip lining & do the coaster. It was a BLAST!!!!

  He would not tell me where he was taking me to dinner but told me to dress up nice but not over the top, so this gave me a chance to wear my new boots that I am absolutly in love with, Greg made fun of me because I changed outfits like 3 times that day ...but hey it was my birthday & I got what I wanted.I especially loved my presents....2 new pair of shoes & an outfit from nordstroms topped with a really cute perce ,this was not cheap for my husband :( but he was such a sweetheart about it.

To my surprise we pulled up to the Gateway & I instantly knew right away we were going to FLEMINGS steak house. A very pricy restraunt . The service was AMAZING we were the only people in there and it was so romantic. The waiter & manager even gave me a box of truffles and a nice birthday card signed by them. I was very impressed, Some of you know I am a steak girl I love love love steak... the new york cut I got was 15 oz & I ate all of it ha ha ha.

 Afterwards we were going to go see the Joseph Smith movie but we were so tired & I just wanted to go home get our jammies on,pop some popcorn & watch scary movies. I love scary movies. Greg hates scary movies. He sat through both of them with me and just held me tight. I know alot of people probably get tired of me saying this but I truly have thee BEST HUSBAND he genually cares for me & wants to make me happy, he is such a hard worker & is anything but lazy. I love you Gregory Brian Burke thank you for making me the happiest girl on the planet. I would also like to thank my parents they took us to texas roadhouse for my birthday and it was yummy, the people made me sitt on a sattle while they sang happy birthday I was bright Red. I am a very blessed & lucky girl.

 1.Everything happens for a reason

3.Happy girls are the prettiest
4.Family will always be there for you no matter what
5. The lord doesn't give anybody trials he knows that they can't fight through.
6.It's ok to say sorry even if your not in the wrong
7. Love is magical
8.Laughing is the best calorie burner
9.Finding your best friend & spending eternity with them is THEE BEST FEELING in life
10. Dreams really do come true
11. I went through alot of frogs to get to my prince but it was worth it.Everything I thought was Love I was wrong when I met Greg I finally felt True Love
12. working hard to go to the temple & be sealed to my eternal companion was hard but we made it & words can not describe what that day was like when we were sealed for time & eternity
13. Be careful who you trust, you will be surprised with who would betray you.
14. Never give up, once you have accomplished certain goals you will look back & be so happy u didn't give up.

17. Forgive those who have hurt you even if they don't say sorry...the only thing that will happen if u hold that grudge is you will let those people win

FiNaLLy!!!!

 As alot of you know I have been attending beauty school for quite sometime. A couple weeks ago I finally finished. After alot of leaves from school due to health issues & Greg's work.... I finally made it. I am so happy & just ecstatic that I finally reached my dream!!! Alot of people doubted me & I even doubted myself at times but ever since I was a little girl I have been so obsessed with doing hair & dressing up pretty. If I wasn't to persue my dream of becoming a beautician I would for sure go into fashion. I would like to thank first of all my AMAZING husband for believing in me & being there for me through thick & thin along with my parents no matter how many times I felt like giving up they were there to pick me up & cheer me on. I would also like to thank Catie a really good friend & role model to me she helped me & supported me with all my obsticles at school & she is such a great person. For all you girls who want a career in Cosmetology I strongly suggest in enrolling at Taylor Andrews Academy Of Hair Design!!! Larry Curtis the owner is a great guy & cares alot about the students & staff. I truly learned SOOOO much attending this school, the education is mind blowing. I got to do two hairshows , meet some world wide famous platform artists/hairstylists & learned theee coolest techniques out there in the industry. I feel very confident leaving school ,knowing my training I recieved was THEE BEST!!! all in all the education is outstanding & the best out there. I know this because I transfered from another beauty school to Taylor Andrews. I will miss the girls & instructors so much. Here are some pics of the day I finished school, a slide show of the great times I had in school & the graduation party my family threw me ,I have truly been blessed with an amazing Family & friends. gReG's DaY oFf

This year for the 24th of July, we went boating with my family. Greg had to request it off far in advance & I was so happy he was able to take off work. He is a very hard worker and is ALWAYS working. He never likes to take off work and is very dedicated. Every night I see my tired hubby come home from a long day and I can tell it stresses him out sometimes , he works very hard to support our little family. I was very happy to see him have fun boating yesterday I love his laugh & smile so even though I couldn't go on the tubes alot I was so happy to see him have a great time. I am so thankful for my amazing husband and for all he does I love him so much thank you baby.
