bAbY BuRkE ( LonDyN aNN) 27 WeEKS

 How far along: 27 Weeks and 6 days

Symptoms: I have been so nauseous this last week. I guess I am just one of those lucky ones who get sick through my whole pregnancy. Now that it's third trimester I am getting a little more uncomfortable, my back hurts and I can't sit or stand to long in one position. Plus the hormones are worse than ever I feel so bad for my poor hubby.

Sleep:I have been sleeping so much better! I love staying up late though because that is when Londyn kicks the most.

Food Cravings::I  have been craving so much fruit. This whole pregnancy I have been craving fruit, it's like pregnancy got my body back to normal because I don't really like eating junk and fast food like I liked to before I got pregnant . I now crave all healthy foods like fruit,salad and cucumbers. but I do crave cupcakes and Eggo's a lot oh and Jamba juice ,I get a jamba juice' like every day

Best moment of the week: Greg and I were laying in bed just watching Londyn move , it is so fascinating, we just could sit and watch her all day

Movement: She is constantly moving !!!Like I said she kicks most at night and she has been kicking my ribs a lot which gets a little uncomfortable, she gets shy when ever I am around other people though I get all excited and tell them to come feel her move and by the time they touch my stomach she stops . The only two people she seems to wanna kick for is her daddy and I. It's so funny because Greg will get home from work and she had not been kicking at all but than he kisses my stomach and  says "hi my beautiful little princess were u good for mommy today? Daddy loves u" than she starts kicking like she is dancing in the or something . Her and her daddy already are so in love with each other I love it

Labor Signs: nope, and we are so blessed to have a healthy baby who is growing at the right rate

Gender: Baby Burke is a GIRL!! we knew it all along and we are so so excited. We have been hoping the baby would be a girl and we both just are so happy. I can't wait for all the fun that comes with having a girl such as   painting  her nails,doing her hair,dressing her up and so much more.I love love love shopping for her , she already has more shoes than her daddy and She already has daddy wrapped around her little finger.

Belly button innie or outie:Innie but it has now grown to an outie

What I miss: nothing at all

What I am looking forward to:Londyn's 3d ultra sound is this Monday and my baby shower is this next Saturday :)

Milestones: We have made it to the final trimester YAY! and if Londyn were born now she could survive but we are happy that I will carry her to full term and she's healthy . I don't know what I would do if she was born now that's to scary to think about. Thankfully though I have been eating good and taking care of my body so that she nor us have to go through something hard like that. 

Baby Purchase:  We have finally purchased a stroller :) and we love it! I also have gotten a couple cute head pieces for Londyn from Cozette Couture . She has thee cutest stuff and I highly recommend her she is so sweet and easy to work with. I am in love with her product

Weekly Wisdom; Do not stress about the little things and try to stay as calm as u can. I read the other day that experts have said that by this time in pregnancy baby's can feel what their mommies feel. So when I am happy Londyn is happy and the more stressed woman get it could hurt the babies brain development. So be very careful

Swelling:Nope!

Stretch Marks: Nope and I am so thankful for that and hope I don't get them. My mom hardly got them and I don't think my sisters did either so I am keeping my fingers crossed  but if I do get them down the road it wont be the worse thing. My baby girl is totally worth it

Pregnancy PerkI I am in love with my baby girl and love seeing how in love her daddy is with her too. I love feeling her kick. I also love dressing my bump . I personally like the way pregnant woman look , I think it is when a woman is most beautiful and my husband still thinks I am sexy if not sexier :) I have a hard time believing  that one ha ha

Embarrassing moment:Throwing up in Targets parking lot. Anytime I throw up it sounds very loud and painful and I think people thought I was dying

BaBy BuRkE (lONdYN aNN) 26 Weeks

How far along: 26 Weeks and 6 days

Symptoms: some days I am still nauseous ,I got sick on Greg's birthday eating buffalo wild wings. Londyn didn't like that to much. My ribs are killing me little missy keeps kicking the heck out of them, other than that I feel great

Sleep: I have not been sleeping all that well, Londyn kicks the most at night and they are starting to get so powerful that they wake me up which I don't mind at all it's preparing me for when she comes :)

Food Cravings::I  have been craving so much fruit. This whole pregnancy I have been craving fruit, it's like pregnancy got my body back to normal because I don't really like eating junk and fast food like I liked to before I got pregnant . Best moment of the week: I was laying on the bed after I got out of the shower and looked down at my stomach and saw that my stomach was lopsided than I saw the huge bump move to the other side of my stomach I called the nurse just because I was curious and she said it was either Londyns little bum or her head moving . I wish I was dressed so I could have video taped it. it was so magical. I also have been asked to model for a maternity photoshoot I am very excited about that

Baby Purchase:  Greg and I went shopping for Londyn the other night and as we were walking in he tells me "OK honey only two outfits for right now OK" when we got in the store we picked out two outfits but than I left him to go ask the clerk a question and by the time I got back Greg had ten outfits in his hands and the majority of them said daddy's little princess.He looked at me and said " what there is a really good sale going on" ha ha we walked out of that store with ten cute little outfits. HE already can't say No to Londyn she has him wrapped around all ten fingers.

Weekly Wisdom; The other day I was at the store and this lady asks me how far along I am.I told her 6 months she than said to me u are not very big for being so far along. Here I am thinking she's giving me a compliment than she continues to asking me if my baby is healthy and growing at the right rate and if I'm eating right. Greg looked at her and said " well u know mam are u sure your not pregnant because your a little on the heavy side" ha ha the one time Greg would ever say something like that and get away with it. My husband rocks. It didn't bother me what she said though because I know my baby is healthy and I eat all the time.people should worry more about themselves.  If you encounter a heartless,insecure,rude person like this don't take what they say serious they are either A. Jealous or B. Very jealous. My baby weighs over 2 pounds now and I eat all the time so I have nothing to worry about :)

Embarrassing moment: I have thee hiccups all the time and I was in a meeting the other day and it was all quiet and I let out this huge hiccup , it was so embarrassing I can't control them anymore

eAsTeR 2013 & gReGS 27TH b-DaY

Easter is not one of my favorite holidays but I do love spring and all the cute clothes for this season. I love all the colors and being able to mix and match everything. This Easter we went to my moms as we do every year and' the kids had a Easter egg hunt . They were all so cute and I can't wait til Londyn gets to the age where she can do the hunts to. 

Greg's Birthday was kind of chill this year we didn't go out of town or anything we just went to dinner at buffalo wild wings and I got really sick after eating two wings and couldn't stop throwing up all night after that but we did mange to go birthday shopping for Greg and he got a lot of good stuff. I try to go shopping for him on my own and he loves what I pick out for him but he is such a perfectionist he would rather do it himself. I did get him some new Giorgio Armani Cologne though it's my favorite cologne of his. I love my husband so much and am so thankful for him. Like I always say he is going to be the best daddy ever to our little princess and I am so happy to spend eternity with him.Happy birthday baby

How far along: 25 Weeks and 2 days

Symptoms: Feeling much much better. I am not that nauseous anymore and I have so much energy

Embarrassing moment:pregnancy brain! we were at a family event last night and as Greg and I were almost to the freeway I realized I left my phone at my moms so we went back and looked around and my nephew Kolby said "Katie it's in your back pocket " ha ha it was so embarrising. It had been there thee whole time. I am not sure if it was pregnancy Brain or just one of my many Katie moments ha ha

Happy Easter

BaBy BuRkE (lONdYN aNN) 24 wEeKS

How far along: 24 Weeks and 2 days

Symptoms: Feeling much much better. I am not that nauseous anymore and I have so much energy

Sleep: I have been sleeping really well but now that I have Londyns Kicking patterns down I don't like to go to bed early because she kicks all through the night and I hate being asleep and missing those kicks. She sleeps all through the day than at night she is full of so much energy she takes after me in the way for sure because I have always gotten the most energy at night. I am a night owl

Food Cravings::my biggest craving this last week was CUPCAKES! especially red Velvet kind from the sweet tooth fairy. I also have been craving fruit. This whole pregnancy I have been craving fruit, it's like pregnancy got my body back to normal because I don't really like eating junk and fast food like I liked to before I got pregnant . I now crave all healthy foods like fruit,salad and cucumbers. 

Best moment of the week: seeing the finished product of Londyns crib bedding (the bumper pad) my mom did such an awesome job and I am not showing anybody until my shower coming this April so stay tuned....

Baby Purchase: I bought this cute chandelier for Londyns nursery I am so excited to see what it looks like in her room

Embarrassing moment:This might be TMI but I have to share ha ha I got really sick one night and ran to the bathroom to throw up and ended up peeing my pants while I threw up ...yep I was so embarrassed to tell Greg to bring me in a change of clothes he laughed but he reminded me not to worry and that I am pregnant these things happen ha ha 

BaBy BurKe (LoNdYn AnN) 23 WeEks

How far along: 23 Weeks and 2 days

Symptoms: had a kidney stone last week and it was thee worse pain ever, I had to stay on bed rest and I hated it but Londyn & I are just fine and much better now :) we are very thankful and blessed that it did not send me in to pre-term labor

Sleep: This last week I had a rough time sleeping mainly because I was in pain and scared to death that I would go in to labor

Food Cravings::my biggest craving this last week was CUPCAKES! especially red vlevet kind from the sweet tooth fairy

Best moment of the week: Greg and I can actually see Londyn move when we look at my belly. we love it and we both got teary eyed

Movement: She is constantly moving !!!however ,our doctor told us that the placenta is in the front so we wont feel her kick as much but I think  we have a little ballerina/gymnast on our hands.

Labor Signs: there were a couple close calls this last week because of the kidney stone but I am happy to report that everything is well and Londyn will arrive on July 13,2013 :)

Gender: Baby Burke is a GIRL!! we knew it all along and we are so so excited. We have been hoping the baby would be a girl and we both just are so happy. What I miss:I miss going up and down the stairs and not feeling like I just ran a marathon. ha ha I am so worn out after just going down the stairs

What I am looking forward to:I  am so excited just to finally meet her and hold her in my arms. She is going to be so beautiful

Baby Purchase: I went a little crazy this last week and got a bunch of cute clothes off Etsy.My mom and I also got the material for Londyns bedding I am so excited

Weekly Wisdom;Do what your doctor says and trust in him. This has been my piece of advice through my whole pregnancy because people think they know everything about everything and some people even think their doctors themselves ha ha they will tell me what I should and shouldn't be doing than when I report that back to my doctor he yells at me for even listening to them ha ha

BaBy BurKe 22 Weeks (LonDyn Ann)

How far along: 22 Weeks and 5 days

Symptoms: have the hiccups all the time,always so hungry and still very naucious

Sleep: I sleep very well through out the night, I do wake up through out the night and have crazy cravings mostly sugar cravings.

Food Cravings::Jamba juice,but most of all FRUIT FRUIT FRUIT, especially my mom's canned peaches.

SneAk PeEk AT LonDYnS nURsEry

Ok so technically I can not really show you Londyn's room yet  because we have not moved in to our new home . We can't until May because that's when our contract is up at our apartment. That is not stopping me from getting started on her room though. This last week has been so boring and depressing because of bed rest ,the pain and the nausea. My mom came down Friday night to cheer me up and keep me company bless her heart. I thought to myself ok if I just go to Hobby Lobby with her to pick out fabric so she can get started on making Londyn's crib bedding I should be ok. Well I was wrong I ended up sitting on anything I could find in the store and ended up having to go back to the car. My mom is super woman though ,she found everything I was looking for plus some she is so creative. As I have been trying to decide on how we should do Londyn's room I originally wanted hot pink chevron and white crib but as I thought more and more about it I tried to imagine what the whole picture would look like and a theme I wanted. Well surprise surprise I came up with the theme PRINCESS! I want to make her room very soft and delicate something for sure  made for a princess. So the colors I c ame up with are light pink polka dots and light grey damask. I found this picture and this is what it will look like but it will be a little different. She will of course have the chandelier, the cute frames, and these colors go with her name banner we used for pictures,speaking of those pictures they will look cute framed in her room. My mom's calling in life is a interior decorator I sware. She is so good at decorating and coming up with cute ideas. I know Londyn's room will be perfect having the help of my mom and husband ,if we were moved in to our new home right now I would get started helping but since we won't be in there until the end of may and I will be huge and miserable in the heat I will probably do a lot of navigating and will be  telling my mom and Greg where to put things ha ha. I owe my mom a lot of pedicures and scalp massages!
